Megan Galante

After studying painting at The Fashion Institute of Technology, Megan Galante entered the home textile field, as she wished to combine her talents with her love for interiors. Over the years she has done just that and more— hand painting designs for upholstery, bedding, throw pillows, wall covering, apparel, and stationery. In search of more space, she moved her studio from Brooklyn to the Hudson Valley where she currently resides.

Inner Beauty Effects

Inner Beauty Effects was founded by Kate Perna, and inspired by the lives of the women around her. Crafted in America by a community of independent female artists, I.BE bags are as strong, smart, and beautiful as the women who carry them. The line includes traditional and crossbody totes and wristlets that pair classic waxed exteriors with beautiful, unique linings to reflect the brand's philosophy that the most extraordinary beauty is within.

Kate collaborates with independent female artists to create the lining designs, making each bag a work of art that celebrates the talent of an incredible woman.

We are giving 20% of Sales to Working for Women

Working for Women has a dual mission to enable business to be a force for social good and elevate women in the workforce. Socioeconomic factors in the United States prevent women who lack resources from participating and progressing in the workforce. Funding dedicated to addressing this problem does not match the need. Currently, only 1.2 percent of
philanthropic giving goes to women’s issues. On top of that, government funding for women is variable and fails to
address their most basic needs.

Working for Women partners with nonprofits focused on improving working conditions for women and supports businesses committed to investing in women and elevating them in the workforce. They aggregate resources from those businesses to support nonprofit projects and help these businesses identify corporate volunteer opportunities.
We are so thrilled to be joining them.
